During the Great Recession, and the COVID-19 pandemic, Marietta Sand Corporation ensured that subcontractors and vendors received timely payments, and work continued on all their projects. Despite the tough times, they persevered with a strong work ethic and determination. MSC in the Community
At MSC, we recognize the importance of being strong and loyal supporters in our community as well as in the construction industry. We have proudly served as members and board of directors for over 25 years in the First Coast Associated Builders and Contractors Association, the state board level and on their Government Affairs Committee, along with membership in our local Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Meninak Club of Jacksonville, and the Executive Board for the North Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Our President has served on a prominent local Bank Advisory Board and was appointed by the Mayor of Jacksonville to serve two terms on our City of Jacksonville Planning Commission.
Being active members of our community and professional organizations like ABC and the City of Jacksonville has allowed us to build relationships with other reputable industry and community leaders and holds us to a high standard of excellence.
As a member of Meninak, a 106-year-old civic organization and a board member of the North Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, MSC is engaged in promoting education, mentorship and long-term support for the next generation of leaders in our local community by donating our time, talent and treasure to youth programs that make a difference in NE Florida.
